About

I’m Dr. Charis Davidson, co-director of the health science program at Mercy College. I joined Mercy College in January of 2020 to build the new undergraduate major concentration in health promotion. Before coming to Mercy, I served as an assistant professor in the department of health science at Minnesota State University, Mankato. My academic training includes an MPH and DrPH in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior as well as a graduate certificate in Women's and Gender Studies, all from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!!). I am also a CHES-certified community health educator.
